The internet is a strange place. You can pretty much find anything online from the mundane to the weird, from the wonderful to the funny. The internet is at our fingertips with 4G and smart phones meaning that more than ever people are using the internet day in and day out and we are becoming an increasingly "connected" world. As it turns out as weird as the internet can be, the things that we search for can be even weirder. Weird Things Humans Search For gives you an insight in to just strange and weird the things we search for are.
Weird Things Humans Search For, by Big Potato Games, is a 3-20 player party game based on, as you may guess from the title, the weird things we search for on Google. The game consists of a large deck of cards with Google searches on and then a list of phrases, such as "Are Skeletons....", "Why do I have so much...."
Players are divided in to two teams with an independent player reading the card. The teams have 60 seconds to come up with two answers and rank them as their main answer and a bonus answer. Players are trying to find the most popular phrase by completing the rest of the search. Points are awarded if they guess the most popular answer (four points), if there answer is on the card but not the most popular (two points) and if there bonus answer is anywhere on the card (one point).
After five rounds the team with the most points is the winner of the game.

Weird Things Humans Search for is a fun party game with a short play time. It will not be for everyone, there is no hidden strategy to the game and no complicated scoring/turn order, but with the right group of people it can make for some hilarious answers. Part of the fun of the game is seeing how weird the proposed answers are and comparing them to what is written on the card.
There is a large stack of cards in the game so has a fair degree of replay-ability. The game is good fun and enjoyable and we found ourselves continuing after the five rounds just to see what other weird things we search for and how weirder the answers were.
If you want a fun, light-hearted party game for whatever the occasion then Weird Things Humans Search For is worth checking out.
