Welcome to another Warhammer Bulletin, taking a look each week at what’s gone up for pre-order in the Warhammer universe. “Now for wrath, now for ruin, and the Red Dawn!” Yes, it’s time for Rohan to ride out once more, for glory. This week brings with it a momentous occasion, pre-orders for the brand new edition of the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game (MESBG) and the new Battle of Edoras box set. With the new release coinciding with the new animated movie, it promises to be something amazing.

Prepare for battle…and a sea of trademark symbols. Honestly I left them in just for the fun of it, they are a bit over the top. But if that’s what we have to accept to get all these goodies, I’m willing to put up with them. Whether you want to buy the new box set or use what you already have, there is something for everyone.

● Armies of The Lord of the Rings™ - The book you need to play armies from the LOTR trilogy and the new War of the Rohirrim film.
● Armies of The Hobbit™ - The book you need to play armies from the Hobbit trilogy. My favourites are the Iron Hill Dwarves.
● Helm Hammerhand™, Wraith of the Hornburg - Now we get to see just why he’s called Hammerhand. GW Exclusive.
● Warriors of Rohan™ - An excellent upgrade to the old sculpts.
● Freca™, Lord of the West-march™ - Everyone loves a good baddie. GW Exclusive.
● Lord Thorne™ of the Wold™ - And even more love TWO good baddies. GW Exclusive.
● Hill Tribesmen - They might not be warriors, but they are effective.
● Buhrdûr™, Hill Troll Chieftain - Not a troll to be taken for a fool. GW Exclusive.
● Hill Trolls of Angmar™ - I wouldn’t mess with these two either. GW Exclusive.
● Great Eagles of the Misty Mountains™ - It wouldn’t be LOTR with eagles and the controversy that they bring.
