Welcomer to another week and another Warhammer Bulletin. Each week we take a look at what’s available on pre-order in the Warhammer universe and this week it’s a deep dark delve with a fine array of miniature options.
Necromunda
The Book of Desolation - The tactical skirmish game sees an expansion further adding to the Necromunda storyline as well as new rules. A key theme will be treasure hunting allowing players to build gangs to explore and plunder, whilst defending your own manor and asserting your dominance over rivals. The rules offer various new scenarios, characters and custom rigs.
Van Saar Tek-hunters - Of course, with the promise of valuable archaeotech, comes the Van Saar House, masters of technology. This set of miniatures includes eight figures in four pairs of mission specialists with various armaments to add to your excursion gangs.
Malstrain – Pitted against anyone who dares venture into the Underhells are the Malstrain Genestealers. These horrors form Abomination gangs, born from twisted experiments and make ideal predators. The set includes six genestealers and four tyramites.
Orrus Spyre Hunters – This is a set of two hunter rigs and one Caryatid Prime miniature. These formidable rigs are imposing with a choice of weapons and heads to create your own bespoke pair.
Malcadon, Yeld & Jakara Spyre Hunters – If hunting rigs is your thing, then there are more options with this set. The set enables you to build one of each type plus a master with a heavy emphasis on close combat edged weapons with the Yeld offering a ranged and aerial option.
Trazior Pattern Sentry Guns - To combat the threat of genestealers, this tech is vital. The set includes two grenade launchers and heavy stubbers with a pair of ammo crates and control consoles. Ideal for the perimeter for any base set up
Yageloth, the Master of Whispers – to wrap up the miniatures for Necromunda, comes this master assassin. A single imposing figure, this operative armed with a psychometric blade adds a bit of finesse.

Warhammer – The Old World
Dwarves! – The series of new releases includes a Dwarf King with Oathstone giving you a leader standing atop a runebound platform and a Dwarf Slayer of Legend, a dwarf representing those seeking self-imposed exile whose lives are single-mindedly devoted towards atonement and a worthy adversary.
Next up is a set of Dwarf Miners - twenty miners and four miner’s carts, ideal for both battles and to flesh out those roleplay tactical scenes. To complete the dwarf line up this week are the Dwarf Cannon and Organ Gun. These devastating weapons add powerful ranged options to your strategy and finally we have a Dwarf Gyrocopters, advanced machines able to give a vital aerial option to the dwarf faction.
Orcs! The Ogdruz Swampdigga Da Troll Calla is a powerful addition to add strange magics and lead trolls on the battlefield and comes with a little goblinoid and cauldron too.
To wrap up the Old World section comes a selection of returning plastic kits for Old World Terrain, ideal for your battlefields or simply as thematic background for tactical roleplay maps.
Extras
Finally, this week also sees two further items for pre-order, namely The Hobbit: Hunt for the Arkenstone and Krieg (Special Edition). The former is a board game that allows you to play as Thorin and Co attempting to return the Arkenstone to the Throne Room whilst avoiding Azog and his crew. The game comes with 15 miniatures. The latter being special edition of a grim tale featuring Death Korps of Krieg taking on Orks and Tyranids as well as a short story and full-colour artwork. This release is limited with each copy being numbered and signed by the author!
