In our latest YouTube board game video we head out into the wild for our Evolution Unboxing. In this video you will find out exactly what's inside the box, along with a brief guide on how the game works and a "friendly" argument about a watering hole!!
Evolution was originally released back in 2014 by designers Dominic Crapuchettes, Dmitry Knorre and Sergey Machin, and publisher North Star Games. In this game you will adapting your species to try and survive an ever changing ecosystem, and ultimately have the most successful species on the board.
The game has received plenty of praise for its educational game play and it even received coverage by Nature Journal, which is one of the worlds most prestigious scientific annuals. The game was also used in Oxford classes to undergraduates by the article's author.

We also have Climate, the standalone expansion available as well. In Evolution: Climate, players adapt their species in a dynamic ecosystem where food is scarce, predators lurk, and the climate can swing between scorching hot and icy cold.
This expansion changes Evolution from a two-dimensional game (dealing with the threat of Starvation and Carnivores) into a three-dimensional game (dealing with the threat of Starvation, Carnivores, and Climate effects) while increasing the vividness of the theme.
