WHO IS UWE ROSENBERG?
Uwe Rosenberg is a household name within the board game industry. He is a German designer and co-founder of Lookout Games. Rosenberg began creating play-by-mail games during his school years and had his first major game published by Amigo whilst he was at college.
This game was Bohnanza, a set collection, hand management card game about trading and planting beans. 10 years later, Rosenberg created Agricola - the first of many worker placement strategy games created by the German. Agricola would knock Puerto Rico off the top of the BGG Top 100 in September 2008, and stayed there until March 2010.
Agricola also won the prestigious Spiel dea Jahres Award for the Best Complex Game in 2008.

DID YOU KNOW?
Uwe Rosenberg founded Lookout Games, alongside Hanno Girke and Marcel-Andre Merkle, in 2000. The first game the publisher released was a small card game called Attribut - originally as on online game. This game was eventually released as a physical game and was shortlisted for the German Game of the Year Award in 2002. The company also published games for Z-Man Games in Germany, including The End of the Triumvirate and Endeavor.
