Well, I wanted to stay up for the Game Awards show last night but it was on at 12:30am and I have a job to keep hold of. I am less interested in the awards but I do like all the game reveals and new trailers. Here is a round up of what was announced in what was a very interesting show for new stuff.
Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC

Dead Cells is one of my favourite games from the last few years and more content is never a bad thing. Plus who does not like Castlevania? Colour me intrigued.
Vampire Survivors Mobile - Free, Yes you Heard correctly, Free!

The ever popular roguelike shoot-em-up, Vampire Survivors has a free IOS and Android version. It’s totally free and totally awesome. You see, now and again, good things can be free. Merry Christmas to all!
Valiant Hearts Coming Home Reveal

Ubisoft have announced a sequel to the very underrated game Valiant Hearts. “1917, as World War I rages on, two brothers will fight to survive the trenches and find each other again. Their paths will cross with new Valiant Hearts who will share the joy of reuniting and the horror of the Western Front – all desperate to find their way home.” It’s the game no-one expected but everybody wanted.
Returnal Coming to PC

We all knew it was happening eventually but Returnal (Still one of my favourite PS5 games) will be coming to PC in MArch next year. Enjoy PC peeps, Returnal is a modern classic!
Hellboy Web of Wyrd Reveal

This is one nobody expected. A new Hellboy game with a very unique, comic-book-like artstyle. It’s another roguelike, which always gets me interested and looking at the trailer, this new game is certainly on my radar.
Horizon: Call of The Mountain - New Look

We got treated to a new look at the PSVR2 Horizon spin-off. Everytime I see this game it makes me want it more and more. I love Horizon, I adore VR and this game looks superb. With the updated haptics, adaptive triggers and massively improved visuals over PSVR, this game is certainly looking the real deal. Count me in!
Post Trauma Reveal

Coming from Raw Fury and Red Soul Game comes Post Trauma. Another horror survival type game that may not be really my cup of tea but I know you folks love this stuff. I get definite Silent Hill vibes from it. FREAKY!
Viewfinder PlayStation Reveal

This game looks so much fun, so unique and unlike the last reveal, so up my alley. Weird, wonderful and so inventive. Just watch the trailer to be stunned by its inventiveness. I can't wait for this one!
New Among Us Mode - Hide n Seek

The phenomenon that is Among Us had a new mode revealed. One player controls a very obvious monster in a game of Hide n Seek. Usual Among Us shenanigans ensue!
After Us Reveal

Due out next year is After Us, an atmospheric adventure game. It looks beautiful and gives me Journey vibes for some reason, even though the art style and gameplay is quite different. It certainly looks beautiful.

This 2d, pixel-art sidescroller comes to PC and xBox next year. It looks very atmospheric and the pixel-art is to die for.
Street Fighter 6 - Pre-Order and New Fighters

While not being a fighting game fan myself per-se, Street Fighter just keeps on going doesn’t it? This trailer shows off new characters Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa and JP. The game is sue out in June next year. FIGHT!
Hades 2 Reveal

OMG OMG OMG. What a surprise, Hades is so so good and this is the first time SuperGiant have done a sequel. The art-style, the voice acting and the gameplay are all superb. I will buy anything this amazing company makes. WhileI am not sure what they are going to do with it but I am so excited. Where do I send my hard earned monies? Thank the gods!
Judas Reveal

Ken Levine(Bioshock) is back with a new game that looks an awful lot like Bioshock. A 3rd persian action adventure game with powers and loads of freakiness, I am in!
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Reveal

I was not expecting this one. This game looks into the origins of Bayonetta with a cool new art style and isometric gameplay style. A very nice surprise.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghostlord VR Reveal

Ghostbusters, check, VR check, weird name for a game, definite check. I love Ghostbusters and cannot wait to be zapping ghoulies all over my living room. VR trailers never do the game justice but this trailer did look entertaining. Day one!
Destiny 2: Lightfall Trailer

I fell off the Destiny 2 train a while ago but I know a lot of people that will be excited by this. More pew pew, more baddies and more stuff to grind away at. Suit up Guardians.
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor Reveal

We all knew it was coming but a new trailer for a sequel to a game I enjoyed is always worthwhile. The world looks more fleshed out, your abilities look more varied and who does not want more Star Wars. May the force be with you.
Earthblade Reveal

From the team that brought you Celeste, a very underrated platfromer, comes Earthblade. With the same lovable art style and heart-warming story, I am sure Earthblade will be another sure-fire hit.
Death Stranding 2 Reveal

Death Stranding, while being weird, was a very unique and fulfilling experience for me. I am happy that game creators still get the chance to push boundaries and Hideo Kojima certainly does that. Let's get weird!
Immortals of Aveum Reveal

EA original are publishing Immortal of Aveum, a fantasy game that, if the trailer is anything to go by, looks fantastic. We all know how that can end though? Cough, cough, Watchdogs……… I am hopeful though, this game is now certainly on my radar.
Wayfinder Reveal

This trailer did not do too much for me, it looked very generic and is brim full of standard fantasy tropes. However, I have been wrong about things before and if it's co-op and the gameplay is fun enough, it could turn out to be better than first thought. Here’s to hope.
Horizon Forbidden West DLC - Burning Shores

While I did not enjoy the second installment as much as the first, I still loved Horizon Forbidden West. This new trailer certainly took me back to how much I loved this world, it's cybernetic beasts and Aloy herself. Brilliant.
Remnant 2 Reveal

Another one I was not aware of, Remnant: From the Ashes was a big surprise to me when we got it on PS PLus. Me and a few friends played it all the way through and had a blast doing so. While not being perfect it was full of atmosphere, customization and had a load of great boss fights. The second looks to improve on thi in every way and looks fantastic so far.
Transformers Reactivate! Reveal

Another one of my favourite franchises, I loved Transformers as a child and I am still waiting for that killer Transformers game. Can this be it? Maybe, only time will tell. It certainly looks great in the above trailer.

Behaviour Interactive, the team behind Dead by Daylight introduce us to Meet your Maker. A Unique base-building come raiding game set to launch next year. It certainly looks interesting and I cannot wait to hear more in depth about it.

Still waiting on the new GTA, well, Crime Boss may be the thing you need to tide you over until then. It certainly looks like GTA and is chock full of moviestar cameos. Chuck Norris FTW!
