As an avid fan of Tomb Raider for as long as I can remember, I was beyond excited to find out that Royal Mail was honouring Lara Croft. This dual pistol-wielding heroine first made her debut onto the PlayStation 1 in October of 1996. Since her first adventure, Tomb Raider has since conquered every generation of console, starred in 3 blockbusters and even has made her board game debut in Tomb Raider Legends: The Board Game. In 2013, Lara Croft received a soft gaming reboot in Tomb Raider which has formed the new trilogy alongside Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Royal Mail has captured this gaming journey through their stamp collection, spotlighting Tomb Raider and all of the 18 games in the franchise.
