Torres Family offers two exciting ways to play, each with its own unique twist. The first scenario is reminiscent of the 2000 Spiel des Jahres winner Torres, but with simplified rules for a more accessible experience. In this version, players compete to impress the king by constructing tall towers and securing positions in as many castles as possible, all while vying for the coveted title of “new king.”

In the second scenario, Impress the King’s Envoys!, players aim to be near the King’s Envoys in order to present their buildings. Building for an envoy earns you double the points, but it’s not an easy task. As you build, you must pay close attention to the colours of the fields, as not every tower can be constructed on every field, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game.

Whether you’re building for the king or impressing envoys, Torres Family offers plenty of strategic depth for players of all skill levels.
