Lord of the Rings LCG: The Battle of Carn Dum Adventure Pack

The Lord of the Rings (LotR), the Card Game is a cooperative, Living Card Game (LCG) published by Fantasy Flight Games. One - two players (or up to four, with two core sets) take control of powerful characters and artifacts. Players will gather allies and coordinate efforts to take on the biggest threats to Middle-earth.

The Battle of Carn Dum is the fifth of six adventure packs, each providing a structured scenario to play though. Collectively, the six scenarios form the Angmar Awakened Cycle - An extended adventure that takes place after the events that unfolded in The Lost Realm Deluxe expansion.

Note: This product is not a standalone adventure. Players will need a copies of The LotR card game: Core set and The Lost Realm expansion in order to play.

As you have progressed through the Angmar Awakened cycle, your heroes have uncovered knowledge of a growing threat in the north. Now is the time to face that threat head on - The Battle of Carn Dum is a combat centred scenario, deep in the region of Angmar. Your heroes must fight through hordes of Orcs and Werewolves to stop an ancient evil returning to Middle Earth.

The Battle of Carm Dum is played with an encounter deck formed of encounter sets: The Battle of Carm Dum, Angmar Orcs, and Dark Sorcery. The latter two sets are found in The Lost Realm expansion.

This 60 card adventure pack introduces a new Dúnedain hero and three copies of nine different player cards. The new cards include powerful events for each sphere of influence - and new Valour effects for Leadership and Tactics players. Lore players will appreciate a new event, allowing their Dúnedain or Rangers to avoid deadly enemies.
