Stagecoach West starred Wayne Rogers, Richard Eyer and Robert Bray, airing from 1960–1961. Filmed in and around the Sierrita Mountains and Old Tucson Arizona, USA, the series portrayed frontier life in the vast landscape that is the hallmark of all good westerns.
With guest stars including: DeForest Kelley, (Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy in Star Trek), English actress Hazel Court, Beverly Garland, television’s first policewoman in Decoy, Robert Vaughn, (Napoleon Solo in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.), tough guy James Coburn; James Drury (The Virginian), Spaghetti Western actor Lee Van Cleef and Mary Tyler Moore.

Vincent M. Fennelly produced the series, he was closely involved in the production of western films for Monogram Pictures and Allied Artists. George Blair, Harry Harris, Jr., Donald McDougall and Thomas Carr all directed various episodes.

Veteran film & TV writer D.D. Beauchamp, (Gunsmoke, The Man from the Alamo, Cheyenne, The Virginian), and Mary M. Beauchamp wrote many episodes. Other writers include Bob Barbash, Will C. Brown, Roy Chanslor, Herman Epstein, Kenneth Gamet, Ward Hawkins and Paul King.

Luke Perry and Simon “Sime” Kane are American Civil War veterans who operate a stagecoach line on the American frontier. They share driving duties during stagecoach runs, and Sime’s son Davey often accompanies them on their trips. Based in the frontier town of Outpost in Wyoming, their adventures include murder, robbery, swindles, range wars, hijackings, attacks by renegade soldiers, Indians and Mexican revolutionaries. Other characters include: Dan Murchison, proprietor of the general store in Outpost; Zeke Bonner who operates a way station called The Halfway House; Cal, the clerk in the stagecoach line’s office in the town of Timberline; Hugh Strickland, United States Marshal and Doc Apperson.
