Oriflamme

A medieval feud has broken out over the royal crown of France. With the King dead, several influential families are vying for the crown and the position of power. In Oriflamme, you are one of these families.

Oriflamme is a tactical card game with players each receiving a deck of cards that consists of action and abilities that allow them to gain influence and destroy opponents cards in their race for the crown.

Each round will see players placing cards in a sequence, able to place their card at the start or the end of the row. Then, from left to right, players must decide whether to keep their card hidden and place an influence on it, or reveal it, thus activating the ability on the card.

Cards such as the assassin allow you to take out another player's card of your choice. If you want to remain hidden in the shadows, then ambush will be the ideal option. If a player was to take out and reveal the card, then you will receive a large amount of influence and damage the other players total in the process.

Planning is vital in this battle for the throne. You need to carefully decide where best to play your cards so as to avoid being knocked out and to make the most of the influence on offer.

Use cunning, power and strength to overcome the other families and gather the most amount of influence to win the game and take the throne as France’s ruler!
