MTG Core Set 2020 Starter Kit

Magic the Gathering (MtG) is a collectable card game for 2 or more players. Each game represents a battle between powerful wizards, known as Planeswalkers, who have the ability to travel the multiverse.

Players will cast spells, summon creatures, and deploy artifacts to overcome their opponents. Typically, a player will win by reducing their opponent’s starting life points to zero, but there are other paths to victory.

To play the game, each player will need a deck of at least 60 cards. Players may use pre-constructed decks or customised decks created from their personal card collection.

The Core Set 2020 Spellslinger Starter Kit was released in July 2020. It is intended to be an instructional product, aimed at new players. The starter kit contains everything that two players will need in order to get familiar with MtG and play through their first game.

- Two pre-constructed 60-card decks.
- Two quick start guides.
- One rulebook.
- Two spindown life counters.
- An MTG Arena code card.

Deck one is a mono white deck, featuring a foil rare card (Sephara, Sky's Blade) and four non-foil rare cards: Angelic Guardian, City Wide Bust, Loxodon Lifechanter and Serra's Guardian.

Deck two is a mono red deck, featuring a foil rare card (Darkuseth, Maw of Flames) and four non-foil rare cards: Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Immortal Phoenix, Leyline of Combustion and Shivan Dragon.

Both decks can be customised with cards from other MtG products.
