Description
Magic the Gathering (MtG) is a collectable card game for 2 or more players. Each game represents a battle between powerful wizards known as Planeswalkers, who have the ability to travel the multiverse.
Players will cast spells, summon creatures and deploy artifacts to overcome their opponents. Typically, a player will win by reducing their opponents starting life points to zero, but there are other paths to victory.
To play the game, each player will need a deck of at least 60 cards. Players may use pre-constructed decks or customised decks created from their personal card collection.
Core Set 2020 is the 19th MtG core set, released on 12 July 2019. The set is comprised of 280 cards: 112 commons, 80 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares, and 20 basic lands. The set features a loose storyline that focuses on the planeswalker Chandra Nalaar.
This expansion has been designed for drafting. It can be played in isolation, or combined with cards from other expansions for more varied play. A core set is an ideal entry point into MtG for new players.
This product contains one 15-card booster pack. Booster packs are the staple MtG product for players and collections. Each pack contains a semi-random selection of cards broken down as: one basic land, one rare (or mythic rare), three uncommon cards and ten common cards.
