Mirai – Blu-ray

Mamoru Hosoda directs this feature-length Japanese anime featuring the voice talents of Haru Kuroki, Moka Kamishiraishi and Gen Hoshino. After the birth of his sister Mirai (Kuroki), four-year-old Kun (Kamishiraishi) is initially excited about the new addition in his life but quickly grows resentful as he feels neglected by his parents. When Kun begins exploring a mysterious garden behind his house, he discovers a portal that allows him to travel into the future as well as the past. As Kun explores these time dimensions he is able to meet his sister as an adult and also his mother (Kumiko Aso) as a child.
