Memoir ’44 Eastern Front Pack

Memoir '44 is a war game, designed to commemorate the efforts of the men and women who fought in the Second World War. The game makes use of the Commands & Colors (C&C) game system designed by Richard Borg.

The system is recognisable for utilising battle dice and a shared deck of command cards. The battle dice enable combat to be resolved efficiently. The command cards form the game engine, driving movement and providing orders for Units. They also serve to create a fog of war effect which add to the realism. Games utilising the C&C system also have a game board that is a hex grid. This grid is divided into three sections: Left flank, Centre, and Right flank.

The Eastern Front pack focuses on military actions between Soviet and Axis forces, from the shores of Lake Ladoga to Stalingrad. This expansion also includes a scenario inspired by the Russian-Finnish war, and another based on the largest tank battle in history, Kursk.

This expansion pack includes:
- 42 Russian Infantry
- 24 T-34 Tanks
- 6 ZIS-3 gun
- 44 double-sided terrain tiles and various markers.
- 8 new scenarios to play through

A copy of the Memoir '44 base game is required in order to play with this expansion. Whilst not required, customers may also wish to consider the Winter/Desert map expansion for aesthetic purposes. Many of the scenarios in this expansion take place on frozen battlegrounds, better represented by the Winter game board.
