Description

Medieval scribes liked to fill the margins of their illuminated manuscripts with pictures of strange creatures doing strange things. So in honour of their commitment to filling pages with weirdness, we’ve decided to bring that energy to a zine in the form of The Medieval Margin-agerie (Volume 1).

The Medieval Margin-agerie Zine presents fanciful and fantastical content in the form of nine strange creatures. Each comes with a measure of doubtful background, questionable research material, and stats suitable for most OSR games.

The Medieval imagination, not unlike the modern, tends towards an obsession with things below the belt. As a result, some of the content of the Margin-agerie is somewhat sexual or scatological. Forewarned is forearmed.
