Lofoten is a Norwegian archipelago, famed for its dramatic scenery and being a wonderful destination to see the both the northern lights and the midnight sun. Our photograph shows warm light glowing from the windows of fishermen's cabins, whilst beyond these, snow covered peaks rise against a deep blue sky. This skilful high quality photograph has been taken using a slow shutter speed, resulting in the strangely smooth-looking sea and the trails of cloud across the sky. This impressive landscape offers heaps of puzzling challenges along the way!
