Klute – Criterion Collection – Blu-ray

Alan J. Pakula directs this thriller starring Donald Sutherland as detective John Klute. On the case of a missing scientist, Klute tails prostitute Bree Daniels (Jane Fonda) of whom he suspects the scientist was a client. When he questions her, she confesses that she fears the scientist may be a perverse sadist who has been harassing her with threatening phone calls.
