Description

Ostrogoths and Visigoths had maintained their relatively peaceful rivalries by marrying the daughter of the king of one clan to the king of the other clan. And everything was fine. Until one day, vile brigands captured the young queen. Forgetting their alliance, the two rulers blamed each other for his disappearance and returned to the war, one trying to save his daughter, the other trying to save his queen. But the methods of communication in those days were not particularly reliable; there was no guarantee that the order issued could be properly executed on the ground. As a result, the conflict quickly became a little ... chaotic.

In Goths Save the Queen, two teams (2v2 - use two copies of the game to play in 3V3, 3V4 or 4V4) are fighting to save the Queen hidden in the center of the table. Each team is made up of a player giving orders and another trying to figure out what order was given.

To give an order, the King chooses a card and turns it on the table to reveal two orders on its back, without having the slightest idea which is the right one. The warchief controls the battlefield, so he tries to choose the right order with a card in hand. When both teams have chosen their cards, all are revealed and if both cards match in a team, the order is carried out. Some examples of orders: load the catapult, shoot the catapult, advance towards the queen, look at the hidden cards in the middle to find the queen and avoid the traps ...

Of course, within a team it is absolutely forbidden to make any sign or say anything to help the teammate guess the card played.
