You don’t have to have been long ‘in’ to board games to realise the storage issues. Some games come with fantastic inserts, some with a load of baggies, and some with more air than components. Some inserts are also not fit for purpose.
You can be a bagger and bag up the bits in set up speed aiding fashion, but bags still tend to rattle around the box and are no god for minis. You could go the insert route - that is third party inserts for your games. These were nearly always wood which would add a lot of weight to the box and need to be built by you! FoldedSpace have created some brilliant reinforced foam core inserts that are cheap, light and designed to speed up set up and game play.
These still have a cost though and need assembling and gluing. What if you what an option somewhere in between? Well enter Geekbox, a cheap set of three plastic tubs that are far better than baggies and can be used to set up games much quicker!
The boxes clip together firmly, and can hold a good number of tokens or a couple of normal sized minis. Once on the table the three boxes become six trays to hold tokens in rather than piles everywhere!
A solution that is so simple, efficient and cheap that you will probably buy loads!
