Escape To The Wild – DVD

The complete first series of the Channel 4 documentary in which Kevin McCloud travels to far-off corners of the globe to seek out those who have escaped western society and settled down in the wilderness to begin a new life. Throughout the series, Kevin meets families and couples who have quit the rat race and fled to exotic locations including rainforests and Pacific islands. While staying with them, he learns the reasons for their relocation, the struggles they've gone through to build their own homes and the cost of their self-imposed exile. The episodes are: 'Tonga', 'Chile', 'Belize' and 'Sweden'.
