Colt Express Bandits Expansion- Ghost

Colt Express is a Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) past winner. Off the back of that, it’s earned itself some excellent expansions – and here’s another one of them! The Colt Express Bandits Expansions are a series of six separate mini expansions. As well as each other, the players compete against an extra competitor for the train’s riches. This expansion is for a lower player count. Colt Express: Bandits – Ghost allows 2-5 players to shoot, loot, and program their route throughout the 3D train. It’s a classic American West train robbery, where players have asymmetrical powers. Only this time, Ghost isn’t one of the playable characters. He’s a rival bandit, also looking to sneak away with all the loot!

Ghost has his own deck of action cards. His dream is to get his dirty, rotten paws on that sought-after briefcase. In the regular game, if a bandit has the briefcase at the end of the game it’s worth $1,000. That cash value remains, but with the stakes are somewhat raised. If Ghost ends the game with the briefcase, he wins – no matter how much loot you or the other bandits have swiped.

This constant threat gets elevated further, due to Ghost’s movement cards. They help him get ever-closer to the Marshal’s briefcase. Ghost is so determined to get his hands on it, he’s ready to punch and shoot anyone and everyone in his path! This includes Belle, whose asymmetrical player power usually grants her immunity. Ghost isn’t going to let the fluttering of eyelashes stop him getting his way to that briefcase…
