Description
Asteroid Dice is a game for 2 to 5 players which will have you diving around your living room vigorously. Containing 5 foam dice, 5 decks of cards and a rulebook, the rules of Asterid Dice move over quickly for entertaining hijinx of the throwing variety.
An average game takes about 15 - 20 minutes and can be played by ages 8 and above. It's simple enough for most people to play and is just silly enough to keep everyone involved and entertained.
Sort of a bluffing/deduction game mixed with a smattering of dexterity, Asteroid DIce has you playing a card, grabbing a foam dice in the middle of the table and trying to roll the highest number. What gets in the way of this though is the fact that other may try to grab the same dice, you know what comes next? A dice brawl! Grab that dice and try to hit the other player, awesome fun!
You can also hit other players rolled dice to try and lower their numbers, it all shakes out to be an energetic game where anything could happen and it usually does. It's even funnier with people who can’t throw for toffee, dice flying everywhere, people jumping all over the place and laughing raucously.
There are a few special cards that change the rules slightly but there are only 2 of them and they are not complicated at all. When a player has no cards left, the player with the most points wins. I do feel though the journey is more entertaining than the destination with this one.
If you are looking for a quick to play game that’s light on rules, that nearly everyone can play then Asteroid Dice may be the game for you. Just clear a space and get ready to duck and dive!
