The film includes footage of eight-year-old Charles and his younger sister Princess Anne on a family beach holiday in Norfolk in 1957. In some cases, the Prince himself has never seen the footage before. Filming for the documentary took place in the private quarters of Windsor Castle and Balmoral, as well as at Buckingham Palace and Highgrove, under the direction of John Bridcut (who produced The Prince and the Composer).
