In our latest YouTube video we take a look at the brand-new Power Rangers Funko Pop collection. These are the vinyl figures for the upcoming Powers Rangers Movie, which is essentially an updated, re-booted version of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV Show.
The new movie brings the Power Rangers into the 21st Century, with brand-new, high-tech suits that look very futuristic and Ironman-like. The movie features original characters from the 90s TV show including Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack and Trini as the Power Rangers. The movie also features Zordon and Alpha 5, as well as the evil Rita Repulsa as the villain.
The cast members are relatively young and possibly unknown to many but there are a couple of big names to help raise the stock of the movie. We have Elizabeth Banks, star of The Hunger Games and Pitch Perfect, as the evil Rita, and we also have Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston playing the part of Zordon.
Just like in the original series, the Power Rangers movie is set in the fictional town of Angel Grove and all five Power Rangers are High School students.
