A new frontier for Pokémon has arrived…or will do on the 30th of October at least. The previously announced Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (hereby referred to as Pokémon Pocket from now on) has got a release date worldwide of the 30th October and a new trailer. The app features digital opening of packs (in a seemingly highly satisfying ripping open of the pack swipe), trading with other collectors, achievements for collection levels, and exploring 3D artwork on rarer cards. Apparently you’ll be able to open 2 free packs per day and then, I assume, you can purchase more. Apart from the collecting side the focus on the app will be on a simplified battle system. We haven't heard any more about this since the first announcement so details are light, but in a world where Marvel Snap is a major player in the mobile card battle market, I imagine they’re aiming for something quick to play, but still with plenty of tactical depth.
You can pre-register for the app on Play and iOS stores now!
