NEWS: The Mind Soulmates Officially Announced

It’s time to dust off those mind reading skills, and flex your brain muscles; The Mind Soulmates has officially been announced!

Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag are back with a brand new implementation of The Mind, their 2018 masterpiece that still has players' minds boggling to this day. The Mind Soulmates is designed for 2-4 players with games lasting around 20 minutes; and takes the original game to a whole new level.

Soulmates plays on the same principles as its predecessor, where players must use their powers of telekinesis to communicate with other players and play cards in their hand in ascending order. However, it also introduces a twist; all cards must be played face down!

I know what you’re thinking, “how are we meant to know if it’s in order if we can’t see it?” Well, that’s where the role of the Seer comes in handy. One player takes on the Seer title, and when the cards are dealt at the beginning of the round, they can look at a certain number of cards to get a feeling for who needs to prioritize playing. Then, the seer can use a wipeable board to give the rest of the team clues about which numbers are where. After all cards have been placed face down, the seer checks the pile and if the cards are in the right order, the level is complete.

For an added challenge, there are 12 nerve-racking levels to work through in this game, overtaking the 8 levels in the original The Mind. So do you reckon your team has what it takes to beat the new Mind?

If you haven’t played the original game that started off the series then be sure to pick up a copy of The Mind to play while you wait for the exciting new release of The Mind Soulmates. Which releases in March 2023!
