The beginning of February was a double deluxe dose of news from Stonemaier, one of my favourite publishers. And as you may have guessed from the title, we’re starting with my most played game in the last year. The third expansion for Tapestry, Fantasies & Futures (Tapestry expansion 3) has been announced, bringing parallel universes to the fantastic game. New civilisations based on fantasy and sci-fi themes are abundant, as well as cities, technologies and tapestry cards.
Appearing in an eco-friendly, recyclable envelope are 10 new civilizations, 6 advanced capital city mats, 38 new tapestry cards, 12 new tech cards, and a comprehensive rulebook that collates all rules for Tapestry and every expansion, including Arts & Architecture and Plans & Ploys, all designed by Mike Young and Chris Scaffidi and featuring art by Andrew Bosley. The design diary and more details will come to BGG and the Stonemaier website on 20th February and the official launch of the expansion is on 1st March, so look out for it coming soon.
