P’on your gas mask and keep your head low; it’s time to head out again. Back into the survival horror world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R that GSC Game World brought to life back in 2007. Awaken Realms have taken it on themselves to bring this classic video game to the tabletop with S.T.A.L.K.E.R The Board Game.
Taking place in an alternate version of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the board game adaptation promises to take players back to the same legendary universe, whilst introducing new stories to the franchise. Advertised as a cooperative ‘zone-crawling’ story driven experience for 1-4 players, we can expect a variety of eye opening stories along with a few twists of horror along the way. Each story consists of 2-4 scenarios full of terror, adventure, and everything else the world of stalker can throw at you.
Although the details are scarce at the moment, Awaken Realms have already shown off some of the components that will be included. Along with stunning art gracing the cards, are a plethora of beautifully designed models. All of which are designed in the style that AR have become renowned for.
