News: New Star Wars Shatterpoint Box Sets

Star Wars Shatterpoint

Atomic Mass Games demonstrated exactly how to treat Star Wars fans this weekend, as they announced enough new Shatterpoint content to fill the death star twice over. From characters to scenery Boxes and scenario packs, there’s something for every fan to look forward to.

So, without further ado, let’s get stuck in!

Characters

With so many memorable characters to choose from in the Star Wars Universe, it was only a matter of time before Atomic Mass Games started branching out into the film and tv shows. Thankfully, that came sooner than expected!

Leia, Han Solo and Lando will be making an appearance across multiple boxes, accompanied by droids, Moth Gideon and Ewoks. Not to mention other well known companions that take on a smaller but equally important role in your units.

Scenery

Although we only glimpsed one new piece of scenery in the stream, it was definitely a sight to behold. Once again looking like it had been plucked straight out of a scene in the Star Wars films, this new building no doubt once served as a base for rebels who were hiding out, but has since been abandoned in the desert. No doubt designed as a modular terrain piece, this addition to the collection will give us more places to contest objectives and more ledges to push opponents off of.

Scenarios

Sabotage Showdown is the only piece of boxed content we saw on the stream, and it introduces several new scenario cards for players to use during their games. Much like those included in the base game, each of the new cards contains a description and an objective placement map to make each Star Wars battle unique and memorable.

So, if that didn’t whet your appetite, I don’t know what will. We likely won’t see any of these new box sets until the new year or part way through 2024, but it gives us something exciting to look forward to! But who are you looking forward to playing the most?
