NEWS: New Dungeons & Dragons Board Game Announced

Adventurers, prepare your finest dice, ready your party and prepare for adventure. WizKids have announced their exciting new board game; Dungeons and Dragons: Trials of Tempus. Described as both a dungeon crawler and a miniatures skirmish game, this new adventure promises to be a game that will interest a variety of Dungeons & Dragons and board game fans.

2-8 players play the roles of rivaling parties of adventurers, determined to come out on top in a series of challenging trials. Games will build up to an exciting finale where teams will face off against the Guardian of the Trials to achieve the title of the victor.

To give even more choice to fans, two versions of the game will be available on release. The standard edition will include 25 beautiful miniatures, decks of cards, tokens and 4 D20 dice, along with a rulebook. For those looking for a touch of class, the premium edition of the game will feature 25 painted miniatures.

Thankfully, fans won’t have long to wait until they can get their hands on the latest Dungeons and Dragons adventure. WizKids have announced that the release window for Trials of Tempus is set for Q3 2023.

Along with the release window, WizKids have also revealed the retail price for when it goes up for pre-order. Both editions of the game will be available on release, with the standard edition being £79 and the premium edition priced at £159.
