News – Disney Chronicles Of Light Darkness Falls

It can’t be denied that the pairing of Disney and Ravensburger has proven to be an extremely profitable one. From Villainous to the TCG mega smash Lorcana, it’s safe to say that the formula has gone down very well with consumers of all different gaming levels. So it should really come as little surprise that Ravensburger have announced their next Disney themed release, ‘Chronicles Of Light: Darkness Falls’—a brand new adventure game designed and illustrated entirely by female creatives.

At this time, very little is known about the game but here’s the low down on what we do know…

The Story

Chronicles of Light will see players materialising in a new realm and forming alliances with Disney and Pixar characters to suppress the forces of evil (no courtesy of the infamous Disney Villains) and restore the Realm of Light. Expect some surprises in this brand new world, whilst encountering familiar faces and items.

The Characters

Players will have their choice of playing as one of four classic Disney heroines; Moana (Moana), Violet (The Incredibles), Maid Marian (Robin Hood) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast).

The Gameplay

Ravensburger have described this new release as an “immersive adventure game” and “TTRPG-inspired”. With diverse missions and a modular board game, the understanding is that Chronicles of Light will be a game that is both beginner-friendly and, no doubt, in line to receive plenty of expansions in the future.

Admittedly, there’s not a vast amount of information currently available about Chronicles of Light but don’t worry… we will be sure to keep you informed as and when we receive more details.
