Last month we were lucky enough to chat to Mark Cooke on our Facebook page. For those who are unaware, Mark is the creator of AireCon and has just become CEO of Hush Hush Projects.
AireCon
AireCon is a board game convention in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The story of AireCon is rather interesting. In fact, the first event (now known as AireCon 0) was held at Mark's home whilst his wife was away!! With three tables set up, a schedule of events drawn up and even a sponsor, AireCon was born.
The first public AireCon (AireCon 1) was held in Bradford, as was the second. Due to venue constraints, the convention moved to the Harrogate Convention Centre for AireCon 3 in March 2017. The event continues to expand every year! For AireCon 6 (2020) Zatu Games will be a major sponsor, and we'll have our own retail space as well.
Hush Hush Projects
Hush Hush Projects is the publisher behind the Fog of Love games. Playing Fog of Love is like being in a romantic comedy: roller-coaster rides, awkward situations, lots of laughs and plenty of difficult compromises to make.
Mark Cooke Interview
In the interview below, Mark chats to Nick about his new job role and provides a sneak peek for next year's AireCon.
AireCon 2020
Next year's AireCon takes place March 13-15 at the Harrogate Convention Centre. Look out for some exciting news and updates surrounding the event in the coming months. Meanwhile, we have a great selection of games from the Fog of Love franchise on our store.
