Iello Unveils Monstrous King of Tokyo BIG BOX – 1 Meter Wide!

BIG news announced from Iello games today, with the reveal of the King of Tokyo BIG BOX. It’s massive! It’s 1m wide!!! Then it is 80cm deep! It’s monstrous.

Iello has promised the box will hold everything in the King of Tokyoverse. It will also hold everything that is to come which is brilliant. They note it is future proof up until 2035 with everything they plan to release. The set also includes Tokyo Bays fish market expansion to feed your hungry Kaijus.

My initial concern for this is how to store it??? This could be a struggle on a Kallax shelf. Ikea will just need to come up with an upgrade in board game storage. The Kallax is great but board gamers I’m sure will happily consider further improving the design.

King of Tokyo for those unfamiliar is the ultimate monster melee where players roll dice to create the best combinations to either smash the opposing monsters or gain victory points. Or combinations of this. It’s a fast paced game full of action and will also be over before you know it. It’s great fun. This set is going to allow players to keep everything together and that is a lot of monster action.

Any King of Tokyo news is always welcome for me and this announcement tells me the game has plenty of mileage to come. I cannot wait.
