CZECH GAMES EDITION - HISTORY
Czech Games Edition was formed in 2007, by a group of board gamers who had worked together on the original Through the Ages game. The first games published by the newly-formed company were Galaxy Trucker and League of Sky. The former has gone on to become a household name, with two "big" expansions, an anniversary edition, and a mobile phone game. Since 2007, Czech Games Edition have published around 40 games and expansions. Some of their most well-known titles include Codenames, Alchemists and Dungeon Lords. As mentioned, the team have also launched digital board games. Galaxy Trucker, Through the Ages and Codenames have all been given a digital makeover. The company have worked with authors such as Vlaada Chvátil, Vladimír Suchý.

This party game sees players working as a team to try and find their agents out in the field. This is done by trying to link words, or pictures, together with clues given by the spymaster. For an edgier experience, over 18s can try Codenames: Deep Undercover. Other successful franchises in the Czech Games Edition library include Galaxy Trucker, Dungeon Lords, Dungeon Petz, Tash-Kalar and Last Will. Each of these franchises include several expansions and spin-offs. Czech Games Edition are also expanding into the world of books, with a novel based in the Galaxy Trucker Universe due for release this year.
