I was given Colour Forge's Ghoul Grey Primer to try, and I ama convert. I go through a LOT of pale grey primer, and I've tried most of the major brands - TT, GW, Army Painter, Tamiya - and this is definitely the best. Although it feels a bit more expensive (well, no more so than GW Grey Seer), it's a 500ml can rather than the standard 400, so per ml it's cheaper than other brands. But there's a few reasons I really like it. The spray seems much higher velocity - don't ask me why - so coverage is both much more even and dries incredibly quickly. It also goes a long, long way. I got the whole of the shatterpoint starter (minis and terrain) and still had paint left in the can for a blood bowl team, two trek away teams and half a dozen other sprues. That's a lot of win. The other reason will be divisive, however. There is a bit of texture to it as it adheres. This acts a very effective mordant for other paint, but some folk might find it off-putting. It's not visible when painted over, but worth mentioning. Still, big hit here!
