To Be Frankie
Honestly speaking, a deck box is one of the core essentials for any trading card game player. Especially when the value of cards in your deck starts to skyrocket. Every bit of protection ensures your cards last longer and avoid taking as much damage as possible. The great thing about this Clear Card Case Standard Red deck box is that you can personalise your loadout to show your love for the series and keep your cards safe at the same time. What’s not to love?
What’s Not To Luffy?
At first glance, this deck box may seem quite simple in comparison to others that are available. However, looks can be deceiving. This treasure chest is coloured with a beautiful deep red that catches your eye on the table. It also comes embossed with the One Piece Card Game logo, which makes it instantly distinguishable as a piece of official One Piece merchandise.
The deck box also includes a divider styled with the same design that can be slotted in between your deck and don or any spare cards you might have. The size is perfect for slipping in and out of the case and it doesn’t rub against the sides.
There’s also heaps of room in this deck box for 50 cards, 1 leader and 10 don with even more room left over. Even with a double sleeved deck (perfect fit and standard sleeves), there’s enough room for the deck to sit comfortably and not move around, which also not being crammed in.
Chopper Proof
Sturdy, durable and well made. It’s also made from a really flexible plastic, which means that you can bend the lid back and it will stay in position as an open container. This also allowed me to put fair in the product that my expensive cards would be well protected when I’m traveling to tournaments.
It can also take a lot of handling without showing any signs of wear, tear or strain. Even after opening and closing the box multiple times during a play session, the design hasn’t started to wear off and it still holds its shape well.
Final Thoughts
The Clear Card Case Standard Red deck box was the first One Piece deck box I had, and I received it as a gift from someone who bought one for themselves and loved it. What’s more, is that after attending countless tournaments, there are very few players that I’ve met who don’t have one of these deck boxes. Which just goes to show how reliable this accessory is.
I’ve also gone on to buy others in the range and the high standard of quality hasn’t faltered one bit. They all have amazing designs, they’re built to last and they protect your deck in style. And at less than £5 per box, they come in even cheaper than most of the generic deck boxes that are on the market.
Needless to say, I can’t recommend this product enough, and I highly recommend picking up a couple for your decks before they go out of stock like most of the official One Piece Products seem to be doing.
