Howard woke up to an itch. Help me resolve it by removing these pesky bugs as soon as possible. This is Bed Bugs by Hasbro!
How it Plays
Press the button and grab those jumping bed bugs from the moving bed using the tong provided. The first player to catch all of one colour is the winner, shouting “Bed bugs”. The bed is turned off and the players count and check if they have won. If you have a different colour bed bug, that player is out and play resumes until a victor emerges.
The unpredictable movement of the bugs add to the tension and provides a laugh-a-second (even if nervous!) to outwit those pesky bed bugs. I’ve heard if you wobble a mug of full tea that helps, maybe wobbling your hands with the pinchers is the trick?
What you can do
Slow hands win the race in Bed Bugs. You each are provided with the tongs and, in real-time, you race to grab as many bed bugs as you can. But they are moving! Be careful, potentially snipe someone else’s (house rule!) and be the first to rid the bed of bugs for the best night's sleep in ages!
Components
The pieces in the Bed Bugs game are sturdy and I have never had a fault. I recommend taking the batteries out between use. I wouldn’t want to step on one in the night!
Final Thoughts on Bed Bugs
Bed Bugs is fun and memorable, focused game which has (nervous) laughs throughout. It's a replayable game, but it can feel a little samey after a while. Bed Bugs is highly interactive (if you wish) as everyone is chasing the same colour, with decent fun looking components and an engaging spectacle as you look to see who you can dethrone.
