A Song of Ice and Fire Induction to a Tabletop Miniatures Game
CMON have partnered up with Dark Sword Miniatures to bring A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Games where players will be the head of a House and lead armies into battle with infantry and cavalry.
Players will have iconic characters from the A Song of Ice and Fire series, such as Robb Stark and Jamie Lannister, who have special abilities that can be great additions to player's armies. The game is designed by Eric M. Lang and Michael Shinall who have promised veteran tabletop miniature players a wealth of strategy in this new game but also new players will find the game easy to learn.
Players will form their armies by bringing together units from your chosen House. These units are brought to the table in trays, ranging from one to twelve models depending on their type. Combat is resolved with an intuitive D6 system.
As units engage in combat, models are removed from their trays to indicated damage received during fights. Depending on the number of models left, a unit’s stats will change. Keeping track of player's armies’ stats and abilities is simple as each unit and named characters have one card featuring all the info they will need during play.
A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game will bring all the excitement and intrigue of George R. R. Martin’s books and the Game of Thrones world to your tabletop. With its easy-to-learn rules, quick play time and numerous options, you will be able to dive right in and feel like you are leading an army of one of the Houses to conquer King’s Landing and claim the Iron Throne.
Discover much more about the game on Kickstarter when the game launches later this year.
