Two new games in the world of Cascadia have been announced from Flatout Games, after the release of Cascadia Landmarks this year. Cascadia: Rolling Hills and Cascadia: Rolling Rivers are the first in what appears to be a series of puzzly flip-and-roll-and-write games, focusing on the Pacific Northwest and the habitats and wildlife of the region. Players will roll dice, collect wildlife, and complete habitat cards to fill in the environments of Cascadia. Dice manipulation can be done by special actions and the completion cards allow you to trigger some powerful combos to get the job done.
Each of the two games holds unique content and supports up to four players, with both games able to be combined to play 1-8 players with 8 different maps. Each Environment Sheet (map) has its own twist, with Rolling Rivers maps focusing on the rivers of Cascadia and Rolling Hills featuring the prairies.
The Cascadia: Rolling Crowdfunding campaign is launching in early 2024, with delivery to backers in the autumn of the same year.
