If you’re a fan of the replayable story game, Tales of the Arabian Nights, or just wanted to play it, you may have found it hard to play in recent years, what with it going out of print. Now though, a new version has been announced coming later in 2023 called Tales of the Arthurian Knights. Where the original game had you ambling about the stories of Scheherazade, Arthurian Knights will see you Britain and Ireland as members of the round table at the behest of the King. The game’s description on Board Game Geek suggests it has been streamlined from the original system, removing the matrixes and charts and instead providing a simpler method for finding the paragraph you want. Choices will shape your journey and a single die roll will decide if fate is on your side.

I have been wanting to play Tales of the Arabian Nights for a long time and having the opportunity to give it a go in a revised format is highly exciting for me. Plus, who doesn’t love a pun in a title?
