Lord of the Rings LCG: The Black Serpent

The Lord of the Rings (LotR), the Card Game is a cooperative, Living Card Game (LCG) published by Fantasy Flight Games. One - two players (or up to four, with two core sets) take control of powerful characters and artifacts. Players will gather allies and coordinate efforts to take on the biggest threats to Middle-earth.

The Black Serpent is the fourth of six adventure packs, each providing a structured scenario to play though. Collectively, the six scenarios form the Haradrim Cycle - An extended adventure that takes place after the events that unfolded in The Sands of Harad Deluxe expansion.

Note: This product is not a standalone adventure. Players will need a copies of The LotR card game: Core set and The Sands of Harad expansion in order to play.

The journey home continues, your heroes have so far overcome the wilds of Harad, Orcs, Warg-riders, and Giant Spiders. Now they will strike a blow against Mordor - by taking the initiative and disrupting a caravan of Haradrim carrying materials to the Dark Lord. The heroes are outnumbered, but have the element of surprise on their side. An ideal location for launching an ambush presents itself, all that's left is to pull it off.

The Black Serpent is played with an encounter deck formed of encounter sets: The Black Serpent and Harad Soldiers. The latter set is found in The Sands of Harad expansion.

In this 60 card adventure pack you will discover a new Rhohirrim hero for the Spirit sphere. New cards will add value to Song and Pipe attachments, granting additional traits to characters.
